Effects on Preservice Teachers

Se discuten los resultados de un estudio cualitativo sobre los efectos de aprendizaje-servicio en el desarrollo de maestros en pre-servicio cuando trabajan con estudiantes de diversas culturas, específicamente en el contexto de educación bilingüe y maestros de inglés como segunda lengua. La información se obtuvo a través de manuscritos de reflexión y entrevistas de los estudiantes universitarios que participaron en proyectos de servicio-aprendizaje en comunidades latinas. Se descubrieron y discuten cinco temas en el análisis de la información.
